Smoothie Recipes

*Please note: Several of my family's favorite smoothie recipes call for my Advocare Meal Replacement Shakes. If you would like to order some, go to www.joinemily.com - however, you can also try other types of protein powder, I just can't guarantee the flavor will be as good :)

Power Smoothie
1 cup nonfat Milk
2 Tbsp. Low Fat Greek Vanilla Yogurt
3/4 cup Quaker Quick 1-Minute Oats-Dry
2 tsp. Adams Natural Peanut Butter
2 tsp. Advocare Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake Powder
6 – Ice Cubes Combine all ingredients and blend in your blender (love my Vitamix!)

Cheesecake Smoothie
¾ cup Lowfat Ricotta Cheese
¼ cup Nonfat Milk
½ cup Frozen Blueberries
½ - Banana
6- Ice Cubes

Banana Split Smoothie
1 Banana-Medium
8 oz. Greek Vanilla Yogurt
2 TBS Orange Juice Frozen Concentrate
1/2 cup nonfat Milk
Ice cubes

Show Me the Honey Smoothie
Makes: 1 serving
1/2 cup Breyers Double Churn Butter Pecan Light Ice Cream
1/2 cup 1% Milk
1 Tbsp. Advocare Vanilla Meal Replacement Shake Powder
1 dash Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp. Honey
ICE

Lemon Drips and Drops Smoothie
Makes: 1 serving
1/2 cup Breyers Double Churn Vanilla Bean Light Ice Cream
1/2 cup Part Skim Ricotta Cheese
1/2 cup 1% Milk
1 Tbsp. Advocare Vanilla Meal Replacement Shake Powder
1 Tbsp. Sliced Almonds
3 – Ice Cubes
1/2 – Lemon

Juice and zest the lemon half. Include all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth. For extra volume, add more ice.

Dark Vader Smoothie
Makes: 1 serving
1/2 cup Breyers Double Churn Creamy Chocolate Light Ice Cream
1/2 cup Part Skim Ricotta Cheese
1/2 cup Nonfat Chocolate Milk
1 Tbsp. Advocare Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake Powder
3 – Ice Cubes

Include all ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth. For extra volume, add more ice.

Mint Chocolate Smoothie
Makes: 16 fl. oz.
3/4 cup Nonfat Chocolate Milk
1/2 cup Low Fat Vanilla Greek Yogurt

1 – York Peppermint Patty
3 – Ice Cubes

1 cup nonfat Milk

2 tsp. Advocare Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake Powder

Banana Split Smoothie

1/8 cup Orange Juice Frozen Concentrate
1/2 cup Nonfat Milk

Hawaiian Smoothie
1/2 cup 1% Milk
2 Tbsp. Low Fat Plain Greek Yogurt
1/4 cup Orange Juice Frozen Concentrate
1/2 – Banana-Medium
2 tsp. Advocare Vanilla Meal Replacement Powder
1/4 cup Whole frozen Strawberries
3 – Ice Cubes

Orange Smoothie
1 cup nonfat Milk
1/2 cup Orange Juice Frozen Concentrate
2 Tbsp. Low Fat Plain Greek Yogurt
1 – Banana-Medium
2 tsp. Advocare Vanilla Meal Replacement Shake Powder
6 – Ice Cubes

Chocolate & Peanut Butter Power Smoothie
1 c. nonfat milk, 2 Tbs. vanilla Greek Yogurt, 3/4 C. nuked Oatmeal, 2 tsp. Natural Peanut Butter, 2 tsp. Advocare Chocolate Meal Replacement Shake Powder, ice cubes - Combine all ingredients and mix in a blender

Strawberry Peanut Butter Shake
1/2 C. Greek Vanilla Yogurt (or strawberry Greek Yogurt), 1 C. nonfat milk, 2 tsp. natural peanut butter, 1 c. frozen strawberries (Costco sells the big bags), 2 tsp. vanilla Advocare Meal Replacement Shake Powder, Add ice

PB & J Smoothie
3/4 c. Vanilla Greek Yogurt (or strawberry Greek Yogurt), 3/4 c. milk, 2 tsp peanut butter, 1 banana, 1/2 c. frozen, strawberries, 2 tsp. vanilla Advocare Meal Replacement Shake Powder, 10 ice cubes
